Doralid Méndez Medina

At Finca Buena Vista, Daralid Méndez Medina grows Castillo variety coffee at 1.300 masl and has been a partner of Crecert Specialty Coffee since 2019. She implements fermentation processes lasting 60 to 70 hours, carefully adjusted based on the fruit’s temperature and Brix degrees to achieve a unique flavor profile. Additionally, she uses a cable car system, or “Garrucha,” to transport coffee loads to and from the farm, reducing a half-hour mountain journey to just five minutes. Over the years, Finca Buena Vista has seen substantial growth, a testament to teamwork and dedication.
