Crecert Specialty Coffee is located in the heart of Huila, Colombia, a region recognized as the country’s premier specialty coffee zone. We are dedicated to understanding the connection between cultivation, the ecosystem, family-run enterprises, and those who enjoy coffee. We believe that from the farm to the other side of the world, everyone should share in the unmatched aroma released by our freshly roasted and ground coffee beans. Each farm — or as we call them, each family enterprise — has its own signature flavor, crafted from its varietals, fermentation processes designed to highlight the unique characteristics of its environment, and slow sun drying that preserves the bean’s volatile compounds. This is how we ensure that every cup of coffee delivers a unique experience, reflecting both the origin of the bean and the dedication of each coffee-growing family.
Nestled in the Andean highlands, La Plata Huila is the source of our exceptional coffee. This region's diverse climate contributes to the deep, complex flavors found in every bean we select. Our coffee is a tribute to La Plata's rich heritage and the remarkable terroir that nurtures our coffee from blossom to cup.
We are third-generation coffee producers, 100% from Huila, dedicated to producing, marketing, and roasting specialty coffee from the region. We are 35 coffee-growing families committed to quality and the ecosystem, and we recognize the dedication and hard work of each family by paying 20% above national prices.
Our specialty stems from a shift in mindset: cultivating coffee consciously, respecting ecosystem services. We implement controlled on-farm fermentations, research tailored to each microlot, and slow sun drying that enhances the qualities of each varietal.
