In the Alto Cañada village of La Plata, Huila, María Deisa Sánchez and José Caldón have built their lives around coffee at Finca Buena Vista, a project reflecting years of progress and investment. Committed to environmental care, one of their earliest investments was a wastewater collection system, recently upgraded to handle increased coffee production. They have also invested in fermentation, pulping, and drying equipment, culminating in the construction of a drying area on the second floor of their main house. This additional space significantly increases their solar drying capacity, ensuring exceptional coffee quality.
